There is something pretty precious about seeing these little royals all dressed up in their sweaters and shorts/skirts and socks, is there not? It's always a cute day when the royal kiddos go to school, and Prince George and Princess Charlotte did not fail to delight.

These two aren't really chopping it up these days, so it's extra cute to go back in time and see them working it out as the best of friends. Those little corduroy shorts and overalls are very nearly almost too much.

I really love when royal children are old enough to begin understanding their place in the grand scheme of things, and it's really fantastic that Prince William and Kate bring the kids along to greet the public. I especially love that the kids often end up carrying the gifts they receive themselves, which is no small order for a young child.
