Fans and friends of Aaron Carter are once again concerned for the 33-year-old singer after his breakup and subsequent Twitter meltdown.
Aaron took to Twitter to announce that he and his fiancée, Melanie Martin, had decided to part ways just one week after the birth of their son, Prince Carter.
"Due to personal reason Melanie Martin and I have decided to go our separate ways," he tweeted.
"There has been a very big lie and my sister communicating w my ex fiancé ruined everything, considering she knew what Angel tried to do to me in court. Thanks Angel you ruined my family. God bless."
The tweets from Aaron came just hours after he lashed out at his family for contacting Melanie.
"Hey Angel, my sister, my twin. We haven't spoken in almost 3 years since you got a restraining order on me. Please stop talking to my fiancé behind my back thanks," he wrote.
"And if you're reading this, Melanie just told me."
"It's very strange you did it with LINA and now you're trying to do it with my fiancé," he continued.
"Stop trying to contact my ex girlfriends and befriend them after what you've done to me. Please leave me alone, stop talking to my fiancé behind my back."
Later on, Aaron would tell fans that Melanie was conspiring with his family behind his back to put him into a conservatorship.
"I have the most conniving deceiving family and Melanie has been lying to me the whole time," he tweeted.
"Communicating with my twin sister and the family members who tried to put me in prison and who tried to get a conservatorship on me in court. I'm in shocked this is horrible."
Aaron would later tell TMZ that he learned Melanie had been communicating with his estranged twin from a friend. He has not spoken to twin Angel Conrad since she got a restraining order against him in 2019 after he threatened to send hitmen to her door.
Melanie also spoke with TMZ and said while she did communicate with Angel, she had no indication that the family was trying to put Aaron in a conservatorship. They never asked any invasive questions about Aaron's life, she claims. She also said that she hasn't spoken to Aaron's brother Nick Carter, who along with his wife Lauren has been estranged from Aaron since 2019.
"I can't even shed a tear. I'm in utter shock," Aaron would later continue to tweet about the situation.
"I've been lied to for two years. My family won't leave me alone. They try to ruin everything, now I'm a single father.The worst part about it is she knew what they were doing to me and she lied to me for two years."
Aaron also posted a letter from Angel that appears to be from before her restraining order. The letter expressed concerns for various behaviors Aaron allegedly exhibited, from having someone call child protective services on Angel to try to have her daughter removed from her care to calling Nick a "serial rapist."
Later in the letter, Angel claims Aaron had admitted to her that he had thoughts of killing Nick's wife, Lauren, and had thoughts of killing babies. The letter concludes with Angel laying out that she can't have a relationship with her brother, no matter how much she loves him, until he gets sober and gets help for his mental health.
Some time after posting the letter, Aaron said that Melanie would be taking Prince and going to Las Vegas with her friend, Carmen from 90 Day Fiancé.
"Seems she’s had a back up plan this whole time," he tweeted.
"Oh and said I'll never see my son again."
Aaron continued tweeting with fans commenting on his situation. He concluded his tweets with a message thanking everyone for their concern:
"Mel and I appreciate the support and concern we have been shown. We both will continue to make prince our priority during this difficult time. Please be respectful while we transition and navigate this unfortunate situation. #HeartBroken."
