Ashley Graham Reveals She Has Names Picked And Is Working On Home Birth For Twin Boys

Ashley Graham is sharing big time when it comes to her second pregnancy. The 33-year-old, who is already mom to almost 2-year-old Isaac with husband Justin Ervin, announced she was expecting in July.

A few weeks ago, Ashley surprised fans with news that she's expecting twin baby boys. In her third trimester, Ashley is getting everything ready for her family of three's transition to a family of five.

Ashley talked to Access about what she's been busy doing and her birth plan. She revealed she's planning a home birth.

Life is changing rapidly for Ashley Graham. By the time she rings in 2022, her family of three will turn into a family of five with the addition of twin boys.

"I'm going to have three kids under the age of two for about a month until Isaac turns two in January," she shared with Access.

"It's going to be fun."

"Everybody has their unsolicited advice. The way that I did it with Isaac is the way that I'll do it with my little boys," Ashley continued.

"We'll just take it as it comes. I'm so excited to meet them."

Ashley shared the moment she learned she was having twins with fans. She knew the possibility was there but still found herself mind-blown learning the news.

"My grandfather is a twin and they also say that twins skip a generation, but none of my cousins or my sisters have twins," Ashley explained.

"I actually had a friend that had a dream that I was gonna have twins."

Ashley explains that she and Justin were surprised at first, but now they're truly thrilled.

"I was over the moon. I've always wanted three kids," Ashley said.

"Justin was in pure shock. He's definitely come around now."

In a new book Ashley contributed to, Life After Birth, women discuss and try to normalize the postpartum experience. For Ashley, it's about bringing the truth about postpartum to light.

"There's this gross side of postpartum where you're bleeding for possibly six weeks," she notes.

"You're wearing a grown diaper. There's not much glamour in postpartum."

"I think that every body is beautiful and I think that that's exactly what I'm continuing to preach," Ashley explained.

"My tiger stripes are coming in and that's such a great conversation to have with other mommies because it's just inevitable to get stretch marks when you're pregnant, especially the second time around with twins."

Ashley also acknowledged how the pressure to "bounce back" is incessant on social media.

"Instagram is fake, it is not real. You can't compare yourself to others," she urged.

"I kept 25 pounds on after Isaac was born and then I got pregnant again. I haven't even gotten on a scale this time around because I just feel like I don't need to know how much weight I have to lose."

The parents-to-be have chosen the names of their babies, Ashley revealed. They've been trying them out at home.

"In fact, I actually even came up with some songs for them the other night," she shared.

"So, we've been singing to them their names."

Ashley's also planning on a home birth for the twins.

"We're gonna stick to home birth," she shared.

"I've got an amazing team around me, my midwives, my doula, my husband. I'm really excited about it."
