Kim And Khloé Kardashian, Kris And Kylie Jenner Appear In Court In Blac Chyna Case

Everything that has transpired between the Kardashian-Jenner family and Blac Chyna is, quite frankly, a work of reality TV art. It's the long plot no one saw coming but somehow keeps giving.

In case you haven't followed this from the beginning, here's your refresher. Blac Chyna, born Angela White, came into the Kardashian stratosphere as a friend of Kim's. She even attended Kim and Kanye's 2014 wedding with her then-beau, Tyga. Chyna and Tyga broke up after their son, King Cairo, was born, after which Tyga was linked to a very young Kylie Jenner.

Not to be outdone, Chyna would later find a Kardashian to call her own, Rob. Rob and Chyna's volatile relationship was documented on the couple's E! reality series, Rob & Chyna, which was canceled as the negativity between the two became worse and worse. Chyna believes the cancellation, and the financial damages she suffered as a result, was influenced by the Kardashians and their connections at E!, including Ryan Seacrest. This conflict is at the heart of the trial, for which jury selection began with Chyna, Kim, Khloé, Kylie, and Kris all there to watch.

Blac Chyna is suing Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Kris Jenner in regard to the cancellation. She previously had included Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner but has since dismissed her case against them.

The Kardashians are expected to maintain that the show was canceled after the one season without their influence on the matter one way or another. Around the time the show was canceled, Rob had leaked nudes of Chyna on social media in an act of revenge porn, another turn in their on-again, off-again relationship.

Additionally, a spokesperson for E! told Variety that Rob & Chyna had "not been in production for several months and the series is not currently on the E! schedule." It was also at a time when KUWTK spinoffs were coming to a close. The only one that continued production after Rob & Chyna was Life of Kylie, which also concluded after one season in 2017.

Chyna recently spoke about the matter on Twitter.

"When they got my No. 1 hit show killed back in January 2017, that not only hurt me financially and emotionally, that hurt my beautiful KIDS," Chyna wrote, referring to 9-year-old King Cairo and 5-year-old Dream Kardashian.

"I'm taking them to court to stand up for my legal rights and to be an example to my kids that 'what's right is right, what's wrong is wrong.' And what they did was so wrong. I am so thankful that a jury will finally listen to what really happened behind closed doors — the lies that were told and the damage that was done."

"At the end of the trial, I'm going to be able to proudly tell King and Dream that I did everything I could to right the wrong that was done to me," she concluded.

"And that, in life, it is my hope that they will be able to stand up for themselves when it matters too."

Witnesses on the list for the case include all the Kardashians mentioned, as well as Corey Gamble, Kris' partner. Ryan Seacrest is also named, though it's unlikely he will be forced to appear.
