Brittany And Jason Aldean Finally Tell Fans What They’re Going To Name Their Baby Girl

Jason Aldean's pack is getting a little bit bigger. The country singer is currently expecting his second child with his wife, former NBA cheerleader and American Idol contestant Brittany (Kerr) Aldean. The two welcomed a son, Memphis, last December and announced they were expecting again in July.

It'll be the fourth time Jason becomes a daddy. He has two daughters from his previous marriage to ex-wife Jessica Ussery.

Jason and Brittany's loved ones celebrated the upcoming arrival with a baby sprinkle (a baby shower for a second baby) for the expectant couple. It was during that baby sprinkle that Brittany and Jason revealed the name they picked out for their little girl.

In a video posted to Brittany's Instagram, Jason's daughters, 15-year-old Keeley and 11-year-old Kendyl, revealed their little sister's name will be Navy Rome. While we're not sure exactly when little Navy will be sailing into everyone's hearts, scenes from the baby sprinkle make it clear she'll be welcomed with lots of love.

There have certainly been a lot of highs and lows for Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr.

Their relationship began with a lot of drama. Jason and Brittany were spotted together in paparazzi photos. Jessica and Jason, who had already been having problems, decided to split for good in 2013 after 12 years of marriage.

Jason and Brittany tied the knot in 2015. There were still a lot of people who badmouthed the relationship, but Jason was content in knowing he made the right decision for himself.

They knew they wanted to start a family together immediately, but it wasn't as easy as they'd hoped. After struggling to get pregnant for a year and a half, the couple turned to IVF to conceive Memphis.

"The IVF was probably harder than the actual pregnancy, for me, because it was just such a roller coaster and so difficult," Brittany revealed in a sit-down with People. "It’s such high highs and such low lows, and no one really knows that you’re going through it all so you have to just put on a game face and pretend that you’re not giving yourself shots in your stomach every day, all day."

The process proved worth it for the couple, who announced they were pregnant in May 2017.

Brittany was 30 weeks pregnant with Memphis when a gunman opened fire during Jason's set at the Route 91 Harvest festival in Las Vegas. The couple wasn't together when the incident occurred, leaving them concerned for one another and their unborn baby. Thankfully, the two weren't harmed in the attack.

It took Jason a while to process the trauma, but welcoming Memphis into the world that December helped him along. "Within a couple months, man, I saw the worst thing you can possibly experience and then I saw the best thing you can possibly experience with him being born," he told Sirius XM's Storme Warren.

It wasn't long after Memphis was born that the couple began thinking about adding another baby to their brood.

Jason explained to People: "After having our son, we knew we wanted to have two kids. I have my two older daughters already, so after Memphis was born we knew we wanted to have another one pretty quick — to go ahead and knock it out and have one that was a little closer in age to him."

This July, Jason and Brittany announced that they were expecting again!

The baby sprinkle celebrating Brittany's pregnancy was simply stunning — and Brittany revealed that her baby girl's name will be Navy Rome.

Brittany was surrounded by friends and family in a sweet celebration that featured donuts, cupcakes, and good old-fashioned Southern cuisine.

We can't wait to see if the little one will look more like mom or dad!
