Chrissy Teigen had a night full of ups and downs as her family celebrated the 2021 Grammys at home.
The 35-year-old was excited to party with her family and celebrate husband John Legend's two Grammy nominations. John even took home the award for Best R&B Album for Bigger Love. It was an exciting moment, except for the little matter of him forgetting to thank Chrissy.
It turns out that wasn't the only hiccup in family Grammy night, however. It turns out that Chrissy was interrupted while taking some sexy selfies by her 2-year-old toddler, Miles.
Grammy night in the Stephens home was a serious event. The cookbook author shared scenes from the family's big night in on her Instagram stories. While Chrissy opted to get into full glam to get the feel for the night, John kept it casual in a Versace bathrobe.
Chrissy was still getting her glam together when John won the award for Best R&B Album for Bigger Love. While she wasn't right next to him, she did hear his acceptance speech. She also happened to notice he didn't mention her and jokingly called him out on Twitter.
"this [expletive] ???? helloooo?? caption !!!!," she tweeted.
John made up for it by posting a video of them and thanking Chrissy.
"How we're celebrating our Grammy over here! I love you, @chrissyteigen! Thank you for inspiring me every single day. And thanks for the outstanding cacio e pepe I was mincing garlic for!"
It wasn't the only time that night that Chrissy got interrupted. She also got interrupted by her 2-year-old, Miles, when she was trying to take a sexy selfie. Chrissy is wearing only some of her Grammy night look in the photo — a black bodysuit from the waist down and some patent leather black pumps.
"please move, mommy is trying to be thirsty," Chrissy captioned the photo.
A lot of people laughed at the awkward moment, though some wrote it off as cringy. What was certainly not cringy was Chrissy's full outfit. She wore a Aadnevik Fall 2020 dress with a black blazer.
Mom and son have more alike than people think. Shy Miles is only just starting to get used to his photo-happy mama. At the end of the day, he's more about a cuddle, as Chrissy noted in a new photo of the two.
"same sensitive souls, us two," she captioned the sweet shot.
