Mom Believes She Can Bring Dead Baby Girl Back To Life By Freezing Her Brain

Matheryn Einz Naovaratpoing was just 2 years old when she was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer. She would succumb to the condition before her third birthday.

Einz's parents, Sahatorn and Nereerat Naovaratpong, are scientist themselves. They believe that one day, their precious baby girl will live again. The nature-defying thought may seem crazy to many, but what mother or father wouldn't hold onto hope in such an unthinkable tragedy?

"The first day Einz was sick, this idea came to my mind right away that we should do something scientifically for her, as much as is humanly possible at present," said Sahatorn. "I felt a real conflict in my heart about this idea, but I also needed to hold onto it. So I explained my idea to my family."

Nereerat and Sahatorn have cryogenically frozen their daughter's brain in hopes that one day she can be brought back to life. In the future, they believe this technology will not only exist, but her brain will be able to be put into a new body.

"As scientists, we are 100 percent confident this will happen one day — we just don't know when," he said. "In the past, we might have thought it would take 400 to 500 years, but right now we can imagine it might be possible in just 30 years."

Einz's body will be preserved by a company called Alcor in Arizona. Alcor will remove Einz's bodily fluids and replace them with anti-freeze that can keep her body frozen without doing damage.

"Matheryn had something special about her from the day she was born," he says. "She communicated with her love more than the other children, always wanting to be part of our activities."

What do you think about the possibility of this new technology? If you knew 100 percent that it would work, would you consider it for yourself or a loved one? Let us know in the comments!
