What to Know
ABC News correspondent Will Reeve married event planner Amanda Dubin in Miami over the weekend, with his adoring Good Morning America fam among the guests.
The news trickled out Sunday via Instagram posts by Reeve’s colleagues as Robin Roberts, Lara Spencer, Sam Champion, Gio Benitez and others from GMA celebrated the couple with pictures taken at the joyful event.
“Pre-party last night before heading to celebrate a beautiful couple say I do!” Roberts captioned a photo of her and the glammed-up gang, including wife Amber Laign. She included heartfelt congratulations in Instagram story photos of the “ magical night celebrating a magical couple,” according to People.
“Kickoff to the most precious and perfect wedding,” Lara Spencer captioned her version of the photo, followed by a parade of heart emojis. “Congratulations Will and Amanda. We love you guys so much.”
A lineup of photos followed, exuberance on every face. “A joyous day celebrating the beautiful love story of Will Reeve and Amanda Dubin,” Spencer wrote. “Still smiling…..”
The couple got engaged in November 2024.
The son of “Superman” actor Christopher Reeve and singer Dana Reeve, Will Reeve was orphaned at age 13 when his mother died of lung cancer at age 44. Barely two years earlier he had lost his father, who died in 2004 at age 52, nine years after being paralyzed in a 1995 horse-riding accident.
A close-knit community that included his parents’ best friends and next-door neighbors as well as older half-siblings Matthew and Alexandra Reeve came together to raise Will.
