Doctors Don’t Trust Mom Who Says Her Baby Is Deaf. 8 Months Later, She Proves She’s Right

Baby Xander was born nine weeks early, and after suffering a bleed on his brain while in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), he spent another 59 days healing and being looked after by a caring team of doctors.

After baby Xander had the usual assortments of tests, it was determined that he was back to normal and back to good health. But after bringing him home and keeping a close eye on him, Xander's loving mom began to notice something strange about her little baby boy.

Her baby never seemed to be surprised by loud noises, nor did he notice any sounds at all. Eventually, Mom realized that her son must have been deaf, or at least very hard of hearing. But doctors said they had run the hearing test and that little Xander passed all of them.

It took over three months of this mom trying to get the doctors to believe her, when finally they brought baby Xander in for another test. Finally, she was proven right in her fears.

Luckily, Xander wasn't totally deaf, but he hadn't heard anything for those first months of his life. And it wasn't until he was eight months old that Mom got the right hearing aids for her precious baby.

While he lived his first eight months in total silence, you can clearly see on his little face and with his huge smile that this little baby definitely hears his mother's voice, and totally loves it!
