Giving a eulogy for a loved one can emotional and painful, yet you know he or she is looking down and smiling. I can't imagine what it would be like for a child to be tasked with such an important feat, but the little girl you're about to meet blew me away.
At just 7 years old, Kaitlyn Maher stood on stage before the congregation with confidence and control. She presented the most beautiful eulogy at her grandfather's funeral, who she lost suddenly in a tragic accident in 2011. Not only do her words send a rush of faith and love to everyone in the room, but her vocal performance of "There Will Be A Day" left everyone in tears.
It's no wonder this video went viral with more than seven million views. One YouTube commenter said it best: “my grandpop passed a year ago. i couldn’t talk, i couldn’t stand to be in the funeral home. I saw his urn when i first walked in and broke down crying then ran out of the building. she’s stronger than i’ll ever be. her grandpop is probably very proud."
