Narnie Shyrel Mack is one dedicated grandma from Kingsland, Georgia. She has four daughters who gave her 11 tiny humans to love and she takes this responsibility extremely seriously. For one week every July, she hosts “Camp Narnie,” where she watches all 11 kids, complete with meals and activities.
Narnie’s youngest grandchild is 7 months old and her oldest is 18 years old. They do not all live close together, so it is so special to have quality family time together every year. They do crafts, go swimming, and can even win customized awards for their efforts.
Daughter Vycki Gaines took to TikTok to celebrate her mother’s awesomeness. “It’s an amazing feeling knowing whenever they go to stay at Narnie’s I have nothing to worry about – in fact they never want to leave!” she gushed to SWNS. She loves that her mom is so involved in her grandkids' lives.
Vycki is not surprised that her mother became an excellent grandma. When she was growing up, Narie ran their local church summer camps. “I think she really enjoys it. Not just summer camps, but graduations, birthdays, church camps,” Vycki explained.

“She runs ideas by us and we have to ask, ‘Mom, are you sure you want to do all that?’ but she always does it. This year’s was the best one yet — it’s definitely going to be something they’ll never forget,” Vycki said. Vycki was touched by all the positive comments on her post. “It was heartwarming, because my mom has always been the family’s backbone — she keeps us on our toes and keeps our heads held high,” she mused.
