Two seconds into the performance below, my jaw literally dropped… and I'm not the only one! The judges had no idea what was coming to them when a boy named Tilman took the stage at Germany's version of The Voice Kids, Blind Auditions 2.
Get ready to be floored as this 15-year-old kid performs "Great Balls of Fire" by Jerry Lee Lewis — and boy, does he do justice to one of the most iconic American hits of all time. You'd never know it by looking at him, but this kid is a rockstar! I guess you could have said the same for Jerry Lee Lewis when he first started out. But not only does Tilman play piano like a pro, but his vocals are powerful, and his onstage presence is so confident. He's is energetic, playful, and knows how to get the crowd riled up!
Although many reality show contestants tend to fade away after the cameras turn off, something tells me this teen has some serious staying power. My favorite part of the video below has to come at the very end, when the female judge does a full-blown backbend during the song, showing just how excited she is about Tilman and his epic performance.
