Everyone is buzzing about Gwyneth Paltrow’s appearance on the hit podcast Call Her Daddy hosted by Alex Cooper. On it, Gwyneth got real about dating and more with high-profile men. This came up on Thursday's episode of Today With Hoda & Jenna.
When chatting about Gwyneth’s dating life, host Jenna Bush Hager’s came up. She and husband Henry Chase Hager started dating when Jenna’s father, former President George W. Bush, was still in the White House. Jenna revealed that on the night before her wedding, her mom, Laura Bush, attempted to have “the talk” with her about sex. It was mortifying but something everyone can laugh about now.
“Do you kiss and tell?” Hoda Kotb asked Jenna.
“I try not to. But I’ve been married to one person for a long time, so I don’t kiss and tell about that relationship,” Jenna responded. Hoda then pulled up a picture of Jenna’s wedding.
“Oh, thank you for putting up my wedding photo. That was the night it all happened, y’all! Just kidding,” Jenna joked. She then went on to explain what her mother did the night before her wedding. It is something everyone can get a kick out of.

“My sister and I spent the night [on] the night before [my husband and I] got married, and my mom came in [singing] ‘You’re getting married! Let’s go change the sheets!’” Jenna remembered. “And Barbara goes, ‘Eww gross, mom! This isn’t The Other Boleyn Girl.’ I won’t even say what she said after that,” Jenna added while laughing. Barbara's intentions were good, but it was a different generation moment, for sure.
