Lindsay Lohan was moved to tears upon coming home and finding her son watching the 1998 film, The Parent Trap. During an appearance of The Drew Barrymore Show on March 14, 2024, the 37-year-old actress opened up about the emotional moment and what it meant to her.
"I just wrapped a movie four days ago and I came home from work and my son was having — he was getting ready for dinner time and I opened the door and he was watching — The Parent Trap was on," she said. "It was just on the TV."
"I just started to cry cuz I'm like, he doesn't even know that's mommy yet," she continued. "And I was like, do I turn it off or do I just — and he was kind of just staring because maybe my voice was still similar to how it was then so I was like maybe he knows like a little bit that it's me because it sounds like me. It was a really magical moment, I took tons of pictures of it."
Lindsay welcomed her son Luai in July 2023 with husband Bader Shammas. They made the pregnancy announcement in March 2023, almost a year after the two got married in April 2022.
