Teen Is Embarrassed When Mom Leaves Car In Snowstorm Traffic To Dance To ‘Backstreet Boys’

No one can embarrass a child quite like his or her parents. Just take this clip, for example.

Wendy Gossett, along with rows of other inconvenienced drivers, got stuck in a nasty traffic jam on the interstate for hours upon hours. Smack dab in the middle of a Colorado snowstorm. Sounds fun, right?!

Wendy, who was in the car with her 16-year-old son, Nathan, was growing antsier and more frustrated by the minute. Nathan was hungry and stressed, and just wanted to get out of the situation.

Nearly five hours passed and the cars remained at a complete standstill!

Wendy and Nathan were miserable and said they were having the "worst day ever."

Then the Backstreet Boys came on the radio — and a stir-crazy Wendy decided the song made for the perfect opportunity to break up the monotony. It was time for an impromptu dance session.

Much to her teenager's horror, Wendy hopped out of their car and started moving and grooving between the other cars and in front of the windshield. All she wanted to do was make her son smile, and all he wanted to do was "block it all out."

Proud of her one-woman dance party, Wendy posted the clip to her Facebook page where it went viral.

Hey, at least she made the most of a bad situation!
