Doctors Tell Mom Her Baby Will Never Walk. Then She Sets Up Camera And Catches The Impossible

After giving birth to a beautiful daughter, Sophie Cousens made a tragic discovery – her first born child had a disease that could prevent her from experiencing a normal childhood.

Bluebell Cousen was born with hip dysplasia, a condition that causes her joints to be out of place. Because of this, doctors predicted that she most likely would never take her first steps.

Nevertheless, the 36-year-old mom decided to document her baby's development in spite of the doctor's bleak prognosis. Sophie began filming her daughter every month, starting when Bluebell was 4 months old.

When Bluebell reached 11 months, something incredible happened. She captured her daughter walking across the room.

In the time-lapse video, you see the chubby 4-month-old cheerfully stare into the camera as she sits in a little pink chair. As it continues to capture her growing, you're invited to share in her rolling from her back onto her tummy, happily flopping her legs clumsily in the air as she attempts to pull herself along the ground.

At 8 months, the video shows the giggling infant using a table to pull herself up into a standing position before displaying her using a rolling toy to aid her as she slowly places one foot in front of the other.

As she walks off camera, the video smoothly transitions to her 11 months, where she effortlessly crosses the screen on her own!

"Everything goes by so quickly, so it's nice to keep a record and be able to look back on it," Sophie explains in an interview with DailyMail. "I would quite like to keep filming the different stages. I don't know how long for, but it's a nice thing for her to have when she's older."

If you loved this mom's idea for creating a lasting memory, SHARE her video with your family and friends. Maybe you'll inspire someone else to do the same!
