Cop Sees Mom Breastfeeding Her 3-Week-Old Daughter In A Parked Car—And Gives Her A Ticket

At the time of this incident, Guillermina Rodriguez of New York had four children, including a 3-week-old baby girl. Let's just say driving her kids around the hustle and bustle of Manhattan can be a little … stressful.

Guillermina was stuck in a nasty traffic jam for nearly an hour when her infant daughter began to cry and fuss. She knew her baby was hungry, so the mom needed to take her first opportunity to pull over and feed her. Guillermina was stressed enough as it was, and now all she wanted to do was care for her child.

The frantic mom pulled into the first spot she could. With her car safely parked in a metered parking space in a commercial zone, Guillermina hopped into the back seat with her daughter and started nursing her.

Just minutes later, Guillermina spotted a police officer and a tow truck outside her SUV. The officer hadn't noticed her in the back seat by this point and was seconds away from having her vehicle towed away.

She got the officer's attention by honking her horn and was so relieved when he decided not to tow her car. She was surprised, however, when he gave her a ticket.
