Melissa Dawson was alone in her New Jersey home on a Thursday night when her water broke and she started feeling contractions. The contractions were quick and furious, letting her know that her baby was coming and couldn't wait.
Melissa scrambled to get her husband on the phone. He was out dropping their 2-year-old daughter off when he got the call from his frantic wife.
Melissa informed her husband that the baby was coming, fast. "Babe I feel the body. The baby is coming, it's coming, it’s coming," she told her husband as he rushed to get back home.
Melissa gave birth to her baby while her husband was still on the phone. She delivered the little girl right on the floor of her house. She took a selfie to prove it since she didn't think anyone would ever believe the story.
In all, Melissa estimated she was in labor for about 90 seconds before her little girl came into the world. It was a stark difference from the 43 hours of labor she went through with her older daughter.
When first responders arrived, they had no choice but to break down the front door since Melissa couldn't answer it. They apologized to Melissa's husband, who arrived shortly after. Melissa and her little girl were transported to the hospital, where both were given a clean bill of health.

Melissa and her husband decided to name the baby girl Bria Belle. The name means strong and beautiful, which can be easily said for both mom and baby. They'll always remember Bria's chaotic entrance into the world, especially because it was caught by the family's nanny cam.
