Prince Louis Turns 4 As His Parents Announce He Will Start At A New School This Year

Prince William and Kate Middleton's youngest son, Prince Louis, is officially 4 years old. As is custom, the Duchess of Cambridge took a series of photos of the birthday child, this time showing her youngest son celebrating at the beach.

The family has also recently announced that Prince Louis is about to experience a big change: He will be joining his siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, at a brand-new school this fall.

The Cambridges are reportedly planning a big move this summer. The family will leave Kensington Palace in London for the countryside, apparently planning to relocate to Berkshire. This will mean all three children will begin attending a brand-new school.

Prince William and Kate are said to be looking for a school that all three children can attend. The pair have been touring numerous schools and are said to be looking for schools that are a bit more remote.

The pair also reportedly want to make Kensington Palace their "work base" but desire a different lifestyle for their children and themselves. They are looking at homes near Kate's parents in Bucklebury as well as homes on the Queen's estate in Windsor.

Kate grew up in the same area the family hopes to move to and has spoken publicly about how much she enjoyed her childhood there. The location is pretty ideal for the family of five, especially as it will give them more access to nature and to their grandparents and great-grandparents.

A source told the Daily Mail, "Word is that all three children will be leaving their London schools. William and Kate, in particular, love the idea of their family growing up not far from her own childhood home. They are both country people at heart and Kate spends so much time with her family anyway. It makes perfect sense for them to all be at the same school together. If all three children are at school in Berkshire together it also means George wouldn’t have to board."

They continued, "The talk is that if they don’t find a suitable place with the Queen at Windsor, they are likely to end up if not necessarily right next to Bucklebury, not far off it. They have been discreetly viewing potential properties in recent months."
