Adalia Rose Teaches Her Younger Brother How To Dance

Adalia Rose may be tiny in stature, but her big heart and her huge spirit have inspired millions of people worldwide. A muted gene that only occurs in one in 8 million children, this little 8-year-old girl suffers from an incredibly rare disease that causes her to age eight times faster than other people.

Called Progeria, this disease causes the child's body to go through the ravages of old age, all while their minds and intellect grow at the same speed of their real age. In fact, most of these children are discovered to be above average in their intelligence; like Sam Berns, the brilliant 17-year-old who was the true example of an "old soul."

These children usually never live past 15, but thankfully, some amazing scientific breakthroughs are being made to treat and hopefully one day cure this disease. So while little Adalia Rose is only 6, with some hope, a cure may be found soon.

Adalia Rose still has a lot of things to do on this planet, so hopefully a cure will be found so she can continue to do amazing things, like teach her brother Marcelo how to dance just like on an episode of Dancing With The Stars!
