Rachel McAdams Is Pregnant With Her Second Baby With Boyfriend Jamie Linden

It appears that Rachel McAdams and her boyfriend, Jamie Linden, have a second baby on the way! The couple has not directly confirmed the news, but Rachel was recently photographed in Los Angeles, and all signs point to pregnancy.

Rachel and Jamie had their first child back in 2018, and to date they have not revealed the boy's name. Rachel and Jamie similarly opted to keep her first pregnancy under wraps, with the pregnancy only being revealed when Rachel was spotted at Pearson International Airport in Toronto.

Rachel has not even spoken publicly about her son or motherhood that frequently. In 2018, she opened up about what motherhood has been like for her during an interview with The Sunday Times UK:

"It's the greatest thing that's ever happened to me, hands down. [People say] your life is not your own any more. But I had 39 years of me, I was sick of me, I was so happy to put the focus on some other person."

Rachel was 40 when her son was born, and her boyfriend was 38. She told the paper that she "waited a long time" but that it wasn't by design. "It's just how it happened. And I didn't want to do it before it was the right time."

Rachel also spoke to the paper about how important it is to her that she protect her son's privacy: "I want to keep his life private, even if mine isn't. But I'm having more fun being a mum than I've ever had. Everything about it is interesting and exciting and inspiring to me. Even the tough days — there's something delightful about them."

She also said that she and Jamie are pretty strict parents, especially when it comes to screen time. "We never turn on the television when he's around. Pots and pans are good babysitters."

When asked if she's thought about having more children, she just said, "I think there is definitely room for more."

Rachel and Jamie have been linked since being photographed together in 2016. Jamie has never walked the red carpet with Rachel, and they've managed to keep most of their life together very private. Jamie was born and raised in Florida and works as a screenwriter, producer, and director.

Jamie and Rachel both eschew all forms of social media, so it's unlikely many more details will spill out about her pregnancy, including the baby's due date. Happily, it appears that Rachel is doing well, and it's likely that her son will enjoy becoming a big brother when it happens.
