It was a joyful summer in the Willis household, and Emma Heming Willis shared a little glimpse into a time that she called "magic."
In a new video she posted to Instagram, Bruce is seen going on family nature walks and playing with his two girls, Mabel, 10, and Evelyn, 8. It's an upbeat update about the actor, who retired this year after his family announced he was diagnosed with aphasia.
According to his family, the condition, which affects a person's ability to communicate, is "impacting his cognitive abilities."
"This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support," Emma posted in an emotional Instagram post. "We are moving through this as a strong family unit, and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him," she added.
Following his break from acting, Bruce has a lot more time to spend at home with his daughters and Emma.
In her summer recap video, Emma shows the four of them soaking up the sun, going to parades, and spending time together at home.
The video features "The Bones" by singer Maren Morris, which is a popular song about staying strong.
The lyrics "It don't always go the way we planned it, but the wolves came and went and we're still standing" played over Emma's family footage.
"We don’t believe in perfection over here but #oursummer2022 was pretty close to it. In fact it was magic," she wrote on Instagram.
