Celebrating Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee was, without a doubt, a family affair.
All different members of the royal family came together to celebrate with Her Majesty, who has reigned for 70 years. The most exciting moments for both family members and members of the public to catch glimpses of, without a doubt, were of the children of the family.
From seeing just how grown up Prince George looks to the debut of August Brooksbank, the great-grandchildren bought something special to the family's celebrations. It's also a reminder of how far we've seen many adult members of the family come throughout the Queen's time on the throne.
At 96 years old, Queen Elizabeth is a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren and great-grandmother to 12 great-grandchildren. Many royal fans enjoy keeping up with all of the members of the family, and the Queen's Platinum Jubilee was the perfect occasion for just that.
The youngest of the Queen's grandchildren, the two children of Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, were in attendance. Lady Louise is now 18 years old. James, Viscount Severn, is 14. The two rode along with their mom in the carriage rides during Trooping the Colour.
The kids also attended the Thanksgiving Service at St. Paul's Cathedral. The family of four were all smiles throughout the event.
They rocked more relaxed looks at the Platinum Jubilee Pageant, as did the other royals. Louise looked lovely and grown up in her dress and coat combo, while James looked sharp in a blue suit.
The great-grandchildren also did not disappoint. Peter Phillips' daughters, 11-year-old Savannah and 10-year-old Isla, were spotted during Trooping the Colour playing inside with their cousins.
Later, Savannah was seen with cousins Mia and Lena Tindall, joking around with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The two playfully shushed the kids during the event but were also seen laughing together.
Harry and Meghan were able to introduce Lilibet to her namesake just days before her first birthday. Still, there were no public photos shared of the Sussex children during the festivities.
There were some royal debuts during the weekend's events. The Tindalls brought 1-year-old son Lucas with them to the pageant. He was seen being held by dad Mike and dancing with the couple through performances.
Princess Eugenie brought her 1½-year-old son, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, to Trooping the Colour. The little one looked simply adorable in a baby blue Union Jack sweater.
Princess Beatrice was also in attendance with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. It was the first royal event where the couple brought Edo's son from a previous relationship, Christopher "Wolfie" Mapelli Mozzi. Edo was spotted sitting between his dad and Beatrice, talking to both throughout the event. They opted to leave their 7-month-old daughter, Sienna, at home.
The stars of the show were undoubtedly the Cambridge kids. All three kiddos appeared at multiple events throughout the weekend. Sweet Prince Louis' rambunctiousness caught the eyes of many royal fans, who thought the 4-year-old was so refreshingly a regular kid. He made faces on the balcony at Trooping the Colour before covering his ears and screaming as the flyover approached.
Louis also made headlines for making faces at mom Kate Middleton during the royal pageant. She can be seen trying her best to get a grip on a 4-year-old who was about to act out in public. Like any parent can tell you, that's sometimes futile, and it was in this case. The little royal clapped his hands over mom's mouth more than once to get her to hush.
He was back to his sweet self in a flash, however. The look on Kate's face is one other parents know all too well.
Princess Charlotte and Prince George seemed to be having a blast all weekend. From hanging out with cousins at Trooping the Colour to enjoying a castle in Cardiff, the little royals were fun and sunny, not stiff. They're practically naturals in their roles already, and it shows.
