Danny Nickerson is a very special young boy, and it seems the whole world knows it. Danny was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and as his sixth birthday approached, all he wanted were birthday cards. His adorable request went viral — and before he and his family knew it, Danny had been sent more than 100,000 cards and 7,000 packages from incredible people all over the world. He had so many birthday presents to open that it took two trucks to pick up all the loving gifts and letters!
The sight of all of the packages was enough to bring a tear to my eye. I am so happy that Danny was surprised by the love of strangers who heard his story and went out of their way to make this amazing boy's special day unforgettable.
