High school graduation is such an exciting day. You've gone through 12 years of school with the same people, and it's finally time to spread your wings and head out on a new adventure. Maybe you've got friends headed to the same college as you, or maybe you're going in your own direction and this is one of the last times you'll be seeing everyone until the holidays come around. Either way, it's a huge step!
There are million things that can happen at a high school graduation ceremony. Emotions are running high, families are running around in the heat trying to find the best seat, the lineup for the students never seems to make any sense. But, usually, this all seems to work itself out. For some reason, everyone pulls it together and the day is wonderful. Just look at this graduation ceremony, where the entire graduating class performed a beautiful medley, or this student's insanely inspiring speech. These are moments that will stay with everyone in attendance forever.
And at East Meadow High's ceremony this year, there was an incredible moment. During the ceremony, a group of 18 students were asked to stand up, as they had broken a record that day. Which record, you might ask, did these students set? They, together, are the largest number of twins to ever graduate in the same class. So cool — they didn't even have to do anything!
