An attempted robbery turned into a lesson of God's grace for one young man. Pauline Jacobi admits she is lucky to be alive after she was held at gunpoint in a Walmart parking lot. But, she says, her faith and just a few words from the Lord saved her life.
The 92-year-old grandmother had placed groceries into the driver's side back seat of her tan-colored Toyota Corolla when a man approached her and demanded money. He said if she didn't comply, he would kill her. She remained calm and decided to explain salvation to her attacker, saying: "As quick as you hurt me, I'll go to heaven, and you'll go to hell." She then told him to ask for God's forgiveness.
Suddenly, tears begin to roll down the man's face, and he had a change of heart. In a surprising twist, he gave her a kiss on the cheek and walked away. After the incident, she told a local news station, "It was God using me. I'm a shy person, really. What happened there was the Lord using me."
