This 62-Year-Old Homeless Man Was Ignored His Whole Life – Until The World Heard His Voice. WOW!

Doug Seegers, 62, has been living and playing music on the streets of Tennessee for 17 years. Well, that was the life Seegers new up until December 2012, the day a fellow musician posted a video of him on YouTube and Facebook playing this song, that he wrote, called "Going Down To The River."

Now, well, now Seegers is an amazing literal rags to riches tale and country music's latest star. Right now he's playing festivals around the world and sharing the stage with the likes of Neil Young, Dwight Yokam and he even has played with Emmylou Harris.

His life turned around, all because someone took the time to notice him and his talent and give credit where credit is due.
