What kind of a person would leave a small, hurt baby duck all alone in mud for dead?! A better question is what kind of person does it take to save that dying animal?!
The following story is an absolute miracle, a story about a GOOD person, who found a tiny creature and gave her a second chance at life. Although this story is rare, as so many animals around the world do not find such help and their stories never get told, we can help spread this story's message to ALL animal lovers.
When a man stumbled upon the tiny baby duck below, she was in critical condition and did not look like she would survive. Her beak was cracked, her leg wounded, she was missing feathers and had open sores… not to mention she was sick from not eating properly.
If he had not found this tiny angel in his backyard, she would have likely been snatched up by another animal or would have died from starvation or infection. Instead, the man took the baby bird into his home, he cleaned her up and is slowly helping nurse her back to health. The best part? A veterinarian says it was a true miracle that he found her. This little duck, who the Good Samaritan named Lucky, really lives up to her name. What an amazing hero!
