The New York City based Wildlife Conservation Society released the following adorable video on their site recently, after one of the beautiful Caribbean flamingos that lives at the Bronx Zoo gave birth to a sweet baby chick. As you will see in the video, the little chick just hatched and is just getting a feel for the big, wide world.
In this precious moment caught on camera, the sweet little chick takes his first few steps with mom by his side. The gorgeous pink flamingo mother gives her baby a little push before he seems to say "I can do it, Mom! Leave me alone!".
Around :24 seconds, the baby stands for the first time, but balancing on his skinny legs isn't as easy as it looks. At :39 he finally goes for the first steps befre taking his first tumble. Better luck next time, cutie!
