Ombre Candy Apples Are A Fun Twist On A Fall Favorite

Fall is one of my favorite times of the year, and what is more fall than candy apples?

Every year, I love to indulge in the tasty treat. The last few years, I've been whipping up my own at home to give away to family and friends. It's become such a tradition that they really look forward to getting them now.

I love to go apple picking and find new ways to use up the bundles of apples that I bring home.

While I've typically been making the classic version — a Granny Smith apple dipped in gooey caramel — I wanted to try a new twist this year and make ombre candy apples.

These look so fun and cute! Plus, you can use whatever colors you like.

The homemade candy apples may take a little time, but it's totally worth the effort. Your guests (especially the kids!) will be so thrilled when they see these beautiful, eye-catching candy apples.

I love making these for fall, but they can be used year round. The ombre colors are perfect for a baby shower or wedding. The possibilities are endless, so get creative.

What You Need:

Whisk the ingredients together and bring to a boil. Let it cool at 300 °F.
