When this man ordered a DoorDash food delivery to his home in Smithtown, New York, he never expected what would happen just as soon as the driver arrived.
The man’s Ring Doorbell camera captured the delivery driver ringing his bell and speaking to him through the camera, trying to persuade him to step outside while she stood there with his food.

She was apparently very angry that he had tipped her $8, claiming it wasn’t enough considering how long it took her to get there.
“I don’t think you realize where it is coming from, so I need to speak with you.”
The customer was shocked and confused; he insisted the drive from the restaurant to his house should have taken her only about 15 minutes.
However, the delivery driver insisted it took her more than double that amount of time — which she felt was too long of a journey to justify the “low” tip.
The pair argued back and forth, but the stunned customer would not go outside to speak with her.
“I feel that is still very far, so you need to adjust your tip to make it right,” she insisted.
