When the two little boys in this adorable video were told by their mom that they were going to practice a fire safety drill, they were confused when they saw an actual fire truck waiting outside of their driveway. Was the fire a real one? Should they be worried that they might lose their toys?
The blaring of the huge fire truck was noticed by everyone in the whole neighborhood, so as one brave fireman entered the house, the two little boys had no idea what to expect.
While the situation was a bit scary for them and they were a bit taken aback by all the noise, they all knew that firefighters were the good guys, as they were taught that important lesson by their dad.
That's because their dad, SSF. Brian Hessler, is a firefighter in the United States Army. And even though he had been away from home for 10 months at this point, they still knew that he was out there risking his life to save lives.
Their dad is about as brave as they come, so they knew when they saw a fireman enter their home that even though he looked a little scary, he was there to help!
But when the little boys and their mom were finally taken to the safety of the outside, the one fireman began to ask one of the little boys to help him get off his heavy suit. It seems that he couldn't reach far enough and needed some extra help. Eventually the fireman managed to get the heavy suit off, and all that was left was his safety mask.
When the little boys saw who was hiding beneath all those layers, they couldn't help but rush into his arms. He's been away for 10 months, but they know exactly who this fireman is: their hero!
