Fitness Trainer Gains 60 Pounds To Help His Client Lose Weight

The road to fitness isn't an easy one. Anyone who has tried to lose weight in the past knows that it takes more than one attempt to lose those pounds and inches, as well as a balanced mix of a healthy diet, cardio, and weight lifting to get the results you want. Even then, the body is a complicated engine: It takes getting used to a certain lifestyle to achieve your goals!

TV fitness trainer JJ Peterson knows firsthand the hard work that goes into losing weight, but only after working with his 389-pound client, Ray Stewart. But instead of watching Stewart shed pounds with his guidance, Peterson wanted to take a different approach to task: He would go on the weight loss journey with him.

Peterson gained 60 pounds to be able to put himself in Stewart's shoes, consuming a whopping 6,300 calories a day over the course of four months! Peterson's lean and fit body was no more, and now he would have to work with Stewart to motivate one another to lose the unwanted pounds.

But the effort paid off. Not only did Peterson lose the weight he put on to help his client, but Stewart also lost a total of 147 pounds! Watch to clip to see both men work hard to get in shape, and the amazing results after giving it their all.
