Fog Rolling Over Newfoundland Mountains Looks Like A Massive Wave

If you spend any amount of time outside, you're bound to learn one very important fact: Nature is crazy. Between all the animals, plants, and wonders of weather that exist on our planet, you're bound to come across some pretty amazing phenomena during your lifetime. Still, one man's bizarre experience in the Long Range Mountains in Newfoundland is way more beautiful and mysterious than anything I've ever seen before in the great outdoors.

We've shown you some pretty crazy natural occurrences before, such as when a mysterious dancing light appeared in the clouds. But the way this fog looks slowly rolling over the mountains gives off a stunning, yet eerie vibe that sends chills down my spine. It almost looks like a scene from an apocalyptic movie!

The good news is that what's happening here isn't a sign of impending doom (unlike this crazy fog that freezes everything it touches), but rather a perfectly normal effect of the area's landscape. Fog forms on the other side of the mountains thanks to Lake Harbour, which creates moisture in the air. As it moved over the mountains, it met with drier air, causing the cloud of water droplets to dissipate. Pretty cool, huh?

Even though I know it's harmless, I'd still probably run the other way if I saw a tidal wave of fog tumbling over the mountains. You can never be too careful, right?

Isn't nature awesome? What an incredible experience it must have been to witness this in real life! Make sure you SHARE this video with everyone you know so they can see it, too!
