Chewbacca is a resident at the Sloth Sanctuary in Costa Rica, and he has one favorite vegetable, and one favorite vegetable only: CARROTS! Chewy loves carrots so much, he avoids anything that doesn't smell like them! He reminds me of what I was like as a kid, except instead of carrots, all I wanted was cookies.
Eating with his eyes mostly closed in ecstasy, this guy really knows how to relax with his favorite snack and, you guessed it — take his time! I don't know what it is about sloths that makes them so cute, but all I want to do is hug one. I'm glad there's a sanctuary set up to keep these guys safe, sound and happily fed!
