Stunning 1960s Palm Springs Home Sits Frozen In Time

Stepping into this Palm Springs home is like traveling back in time to the 1960s. This unique house was built in 1969, with each room perfectly preserved to reflect the style of the time.

The 3-bedroom stunner is currently on the market for $850,000. This may seem like a lot at first, but just wait until you get a closer look.

The gorgeous property boasts bold colors, chandeliers galore, and plush carpets.  It is truly an amazing sight to see.

Visitors have described their tour of the home as "life changing, memorable, and museum-like." Whoever ends up purchasing this home must have a deep appreciation for its unique features, much like this underground bunker home built in the 1970s.

Zillow featured the home on their "Home of the Week" blog, calling it a "Brady Bunch-meets-Studio 54 affair." Besides small modifications made to the kitchen, the home has remained frozen in time and, as fans of the '60s, we hope it stays that way!

Forty-seven years ago, this beautiful home was built in Palm Springs, CA.  The 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home has had only two owners since it was built, and the inside is truly an incredible trip back in time.

This eye-catching, emerald green living space is nothing short of grand. The ornate chandeliers, sweeping curtains, and towering windows offer you a glimpse into a world of 1960s luxury. Everything in this home is a conversation piece!

Each bedroom is color coordinated from ceiling to floor. The careful attention to detail truly shows that quality is everlasting. Most notable is this hot pink master bedroom — even Barbie would be envious of this room!

To some, this may seem over-the-top, but it's hard to deny that the color coordination in this home is impressive!

Even the TV stand is the same baby pink as the rest of the furniture in the bedroom.  Nothing is quite as impressive, however, as the coordinating master bath.

No 1960s luxury home would be complete without a bathroom floor completely lined with hot pink carpeting! The middle of the bathroom features a terrazzo bathtub, underneath another gorgeous crystal chandelier.

The dining area is just as decadent. The emerald green high-topped chairs and table for 10 is the perfect place to hold a dinner party! And the room is topped off with not one, but two gorgeous chandeliers.

The home has recently played host to some interesting visitors, and there are more to come.  The 3,350-square-foot property has caught the eye of photographers from around the world.

The museum-like quality of the home is ideal for stage sets. Listing agent, Lucio Bernal, told the Huffington Post that a photographer is coming in all the way from Australia to do a 1960s-inspired photo shoot in the house.

Clearly the original builders of the home had a thing for green decorations!

“It’s in incredible condition,” Bernal told Huffington Post. “To re-create that stuff today would be pretty expensive.”

The wooden paneling in this seating area certainly takes you back to a different era. Although these rooms were decorated over 40 years ago, they certainly don't seem dated in a bad way. The previous owners took such pains to preserve the home that it looks brand new.

The bar includes custom-made stools and has a very Mad Men-esque feel to it. This would be the perfect setting to enjoy a martini with friends or business acquaintances.

Even the outside of the home has some incredible features. In the backyard, you'll find a jacuzzi, pool, and lounge area within full view of the mountains.

With its distinct 1960s appearance, there is certainly nothing else quite like this home!
