Personal hygiene is something I take very seriously.
Especially in the summer when sweating is inevitable, I always make sure I have deodorant and/or cologne with me at all times. Of course we are all familiar with the normal ways to maintain good hygiene. And since I love bizarre and hilarious things, like these strange historical beach photos, when I saw the crazy ways people took care of their bodies in the past, I had to take a closer look.
This history of hygiene was posted on Plumbworld and goes back as far as 4,000 B.C. Some of these are surprisingly smart, but others are absolutely insane. Who knew that the Ancient Egyptians bathed daily, just like us? But when I saw what the British put on their eyebrows in the 18th century, I laughed out loud.
