When I was 14, I'm pretty sure the most impressive thing I was capable of was actually putting my laundry away rather than letting it sit in the hamper like usual. I still struggle with that task as an adult, actually, but I've got a few more accomplishments under my belt now, too. However, I don't hold a candle to the incredible young girl singing in the clip below.
Jasmine Elcock is a sweet teen who loves school, her family, and friends. She also happens to be blessed with the voice of an angel! Despite her age, she managed to not only stun the audience and judges during her audition for Britain's Got Talent, but earn the honor of a Golden Buzzer from the show's hosts, Ant and Dec. That meant that unlike other contestants who had to prove themselves further with rounds of competition and voting, Jasmine already had a ticket to the semi-finals.
In the weeks since that emotional moment, she's been surrounded by tons of support from her loved ones. The video even provides a glimpse at her awesome relationship with her brother and the hilarious way she informed him of her victory. After a humorous introduction, Jasmine stands on the stage with gorgeous neon angel wings behind her while she sings a beautiful rendition of "Wings" by Birdy.
If the image weren't breathtaking enough on its own, her seemingly effortless control over her vocals truly knocks this performance out of the park. Surly judge Simon Cowell hates to admit it, but he was just as dazzled as the rest of us!
