Jimmy Fallon And The ‘SNL’ Crew Can’t Wait For Christmas In This Hilarious Song

One of my favorite things about the holiday season is all of the annual Christmas specials that start to air on TV after Thanksgiving. The hilarious folks at Saturday Night Live always put a smile on my face with their collection of Yuletide sketches  especially if it's one of their quirky musical numbers, like this classic tune led by Jimmy Fallon. He performed the silly song for the first time in 2001. Joined by Horatio Sanz, Chris Kattan, and Tracy Morgan, they list all the holly and jolly reasons they just can't wait for December 25 to finally roll around.

Sanz kicks the song off with his unusual guitar while Fallon plucks out some sounds effects on a keyboard held by Kattan. Morgan doesn't add much to the group of goofballs as far as music goes, but he perfectly rounds out the absurd quartet with his dance moves. Of course, Fallon was notorious for constantly breaking character with laughter during his time on the show, something Sanz was guilty of more than a few times, too. But they both do a great job of keeping their cool for this musical moment. They're all clad in perfectly dorky sweaters while fake snow really sets the mood. If only Christmas could come more than once a year!

You'll have it stuck in your head all day. SHARE with your friends so they can join in the festive fun, too!
