Justin Timberlake And His Backup Singers Perform Memorable Cover Of A 1990s Hit

Leave it up to Justin Timberlake to share the spotlight at his own show to pay homage to a popular R&B group.

Timberlake, who's no stranger to having some epic surprises at his shows, performed a cover of Bell Biv DeVoe’s 1990 smash "Poison" along with two of his backup singers. They each took turns singing and performed some memorable choreography at the same time. (Just wait for the 1:20 mark when they energetically dance in sync!)

This isn't the first time Timberlake paid tribute to artists of the past; he's covered tunes from legends like Michael Jackson, Otis Redding, and Marvin Gaye. Yet, this one below is now going viral for very good reason.

Although the performance was recorded during his 20/20 Experience Tour in 2013, Bell Biv DeVoe brought it back to the spotlight by sharing it on the group's Facebook page. It was viewed more than 19 million times and shared more than 215,000 times in less than a week.

Many fans praised Timberlake's fun-loving performance, including one who wrote, "You know how I feel about JT, he can do no wrong! Awesome tribute. They look like they had fun performing! That's what it's all about."

Watch for yourself below, and I'm sure you'll understand the hype!
