The Louisiana Mudfest will allow you to unleash your inner elephant every weekend, thanks to massive amounts of mud that are perfect for swimming in, playing in, and even driving in. It might sound like a gross experience, but once you check it out, you'll be dying to get a little muddy.
Festivals have come a long way since the crazy days shown in these old photos from Woodstock. Nowadays, there's an ultra-wide variety of week- or even month-long celebrations and activities that celebrate cultural traditions all over the world. While many of them, such as the ice festivals that feature these beautiful and intricate sculptures, only go on for a small part of the year, the Mudfest takes place every weekend all year round on a family-owned plot of over 300 acres. Whether you go alone or with all your friends, you're sure to have a great time letting loose and getting dirty.
