Michele Primeau received the surprise of a lifetime when a stranger called with some odd news: A bottle containing a message from her father had been found 95 years after he wrote it.
The story is pretty fascinating. In June 2021, boat captain Jennifer Dowker discovered a bottle that contained a note written in 1926. It read: "Will the person who finds this bottle return this paper to George Morrow Cheboygan, Michigan and tell where it was found?"
She shared the note on Facebook, where it was reshared thousands of times. Eventually, someone who saw it decided to track down any family members of George Morrow, which is how Michele Primeau learned about the story.
