Many Floridians (and probably non-Floridians, too) understand that the Sunshine State is also home to many alligators. The reptiles have been found in ponds, lakes, and swamps all around the state, though every once in a while they turn up in the most unexpected of places.
In the video below, an alligator appeared at a zip line station, though it wasn't his sighting that caused such a shock; it's what he did when he showed up!
In the video, a group of zip-lining instructors were testing out a new line that traversed a pond.
The pond was well-known for having alligators, which added to the exhilaration of the ride. Wearing full protective gear, one of the instructors hooked herself to the line and set off.
Her fellow instructors waited on the other side of the zip line, no doubt anxious for a report on her experience with the new line.
But what she didn't expect was that an alligator was watching her from the pond.
None the wiser, the instructor set off on the zip line. She seemed somewhat relaxed toward the end, probably assuming that the line was a success.
