Mom Claims She Was Forced To Pay $70 For Daughter’s Cereal At Disney World

One mom was in the ultimate shock when she found out she would have to pay $70 for a bowl of cereal for her daughter during their trip to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Travel agent Kaitlin Lebeouf was filmed by her travel companion, Autumn Scott, in utter dismay after she learned the price for a bowl of Frosted Flakes for her 4-year-old daughter.

The trio were dining at the Cinderella’s Royal Table resort restaurant. “Tell me what your kid got for $70?” the friend joked in the video.

@kaitlin.lebeouf Replying to @CCL the viral tiktok that resulted in me on DAILY MAIL ‍♀️ it was OBV a joke that my child decided to choose the cereal. Kaitlin goes on to give a sarcastic look and then answers, "Frosted Flakes," as she tries to take her daughter's cereal to show the camera. The little girl is initially hesitant to give up her bowl, but she eventually holds it up for the camera.

“It tastes better in Disney,” Kaitlin joked. She then called the bowl of Frosted Flakes “Cinderella cereal.”

In the video, the mother is in obvious dismay over the ridiculously high cost of the cereal. She stares into the camera with a look of disbelief on her face.

Kaitlin posted another video, surprised that their story had gone viral. She also mentioned that there were many comments calling her daughter a brat.

"Not the search being 'Disney world breakfast brat' ," one user commented. "I also have a kid that has brat tendencies so… solidarity mama! You’ll laugh about it later ."

Kaitlin replied back saying, "I swear she is literally the sweetest kid."

On the website for the restaurant, the prices show that it charges $69 per adult and $42 per child — with gratuity included for both. The breakfast menu includes an array of options, from a traditional breakfast to caramel apple-stuffed French toast, Mickey-shaped waffles, and of course, a bowl of cereal.

Some users took the video a little too seriously, saying Kaitlin fabricated the story and caused a negative perspective on Disney World prices.

“So you just made a video that’s a giant lie?" someone wrote. "What a clout chaser. Maybe make a factual video next time not scolding Disney?”

Kaitlin made a follow-up video to let people know that the video was posted as a joke. “I’m a travel agent, well aware of the prices my friend was well aware of the prices,” she said. “The entire thing was posted as a complete joke and an exaggeration.”
