Can You See This Man? Because More Than 30 Percent Of People Don’t!

Be honest: Have you ever tried to park your car in a handicapped spot?

A unique social experiment was carried out on underground parking spaces of business centers and shopping malls around Moscow, and it's shocking to see how many able-bodied individuals continue to park their vehicles illegally in accessible parking spaces. In fact, nonprofit organization Dislife estimates that around 30 percent of drivers in Russia don't pay attention to the signs and park their cars wherever they please.

The goal of this experiment was to provoke change in the behavior of drivers who unrightfully take the parking spaces reserved for the handicapped people.

In the video below, equipment is installed on disabled parking spaces to project a holographic image of a real disabled person. Hidden cameras verified the presence of a disabled sticker on windshields of an approaching car. If the sticker wasn’t detected, the holographic image appeared in front of the car and began talking to them.

The interactive communication of drivers and the hologram was filmed on hidden cameras, and the results are very eye-opening.
