In March 2019, a family from Highland, Michigan, was planning on moving out of their home as quickly as possible, but the reason is far from typical.
At the time, Heather and Josh lived in a guesthouse owned by Josh's mother. One day, while watching back the footage recorded on the nanny cam set up in their 15-month-old daughter's nursery, they saw a terrifying image. Lily was in her crib in the pitch dark when something moved and walked in front of her. But whatever "it" was, they couldn't see it clearly. Lily appeared to stand up and follow the movement with her eyes.
Josh said he felt chills down his spine as he watched the footage back. Heather told reporters, "It's almost like she sees something we don't."
Apparently, the man who originally lived in the family's home took his own life by jumping out of the window.
The couple believes the so-called ghost even scratched their daughter and was "going after her" — and they had no intention of sticking around to find out why or what it could do next.
