All of her life, Niki Evans' father encouraged her to sing. She had a gift that she didn't truly understand, and he wanted her to take advantage of it and use it to the best of her ability. But she didn't believe in herself the way her father did.

Shortly before he died, her father sent away for an application to The X Factor. He never even had the opportunity to give it to her. When she found it among his personal matters after he passed, she finally found the courage to follow his advice. I think it's safe to say he would have been VERY proud! What an incredible voice!
