A man was arrested after a conflict on an American Airlines flight from Tampa to Philadelphia on Tuesday, March 19. Videos of the incident have captured some of what happened on the flight that was delayed 30 minutes due to the man's alleged behavior.
In videos, the man appears to be yelling at flight attendants and passengers, and at one point, he seems to direct a slur at a flight attendant. He accused other passengers on his flight of making it "harder for [him] to get to [his] home country."
The "disruptive customer" prompted staff to call for help from law enforcement, reported The Philadelphia Inquirer.
The passenger was arrested and charged with disorderly intoxication and two counts of battery.

Videos did not capture everything that happened, but show the passenger arguing and yelling before being put in a headlock by another passenger on the plane.
The Federal Aviation Administration said that the incident involved a fight between two passengers during the boarding process, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported.
During the chaotic incident, two passengers also claimed to be police officers and attempted to intervene, as per the New York Post.
The New York Post also reported that it obtained a criminal affidavit that provided more information about what happened.
The filing claims that the man “began acting erratically yelling and cursing at the passengers" during the boarding process, as per the New York Post. The man was reportedly visibly drunk.
The man is not the first disruptive American Airlines passenger to go viral due to disruptive behavior. In July 2023, a woman went viral for yelling while walking toward the exit on her American Airlines flight.
“I’m telling you, I’m getting the f— off, and there’s a reason why I’m getting the f— off and everyone can either believe it or they can not believe it,” the woman shouted. “I don’t give two f—s, but I am telling you right now — that motherf—er back there is not real.”
The woman, later identified as Tiffany Gomas, apologized to the people on the flight with her, acknowledging that her behavior was not appropriate.
"We all have our bad moments, some far worse than others. And mine happened to be caught on camera for the whole world to see multiple times," she said.
