With fall fully upon on us, it's time to start unpacking the sweaters and long sleeves again. And if you, like me, love nothing more than spicing up a cute top with some chunky jewels come the cooler seasons, then this is definitely the the tutorial you have to try.
Much like a DIY convertible backless bra we saw recently, this beaded necklace tutorial from YouTube beauty vlogger LaurDIY is a fantastic (and relatively easy!) way to add some dimension to your fall and winter wardrobes. The best part is that it won't cost you the exorbitant amount of money that you'd pay for the same look in a department store, and you get to tell people you designed it yourself.
So here's what you'll need for this adorable beaded collar:
- Felt
- Scissors
- Fabric glue
- Assorted beads
- Ribbon
- Paper for your stencil
We found some adorable beads while we were poking around Amazon, but any craft store will have a good assortment as well. You’ll want to make sure that you’re picking up a glue that’s strong enough to hold up your necklace. Other than that, this adorable accessory only takes minutes to create, and it looks cute with just about anything!
