The reach of our scientific capabilities is mind-bending to such an extent that we frequently have to ask ourselves how half of this stuff even exists. I’m no scientist, but I can appreciate the advancements made by incredible minds just as much as the next guy.
Take, for example, the fact that we’ve sent human beings in rockets into the ever-expanding void of dark matter and dark energy that we call space. I mean, how cool is that?! We have seen our own planet from space and landed robots on the other stuff we’re curious about (though we’ve a long way to go).
We posted a video last year about how far we’ve come scientifically that absolutely blew our minds. We now have hoverboards that can be ridden! (All my Back To The Future fans will appreciate that.) We were able to make a dead heart start beating again! This is crazy stuff we’re doing!
The below video does something that I quite honestly can’t even begin to wrap my head around. Tel Aviv University researchers managed to make a superconductor float using “quantum levitation,” which you’ll honestly just have to watch to video to see. All I can say is that science rules.
